Amid a surge in Covid-19 cases in the state, the Rajasthan government on Sunday announced a two-week strict lockdown in the state from April 19 to May 3.
During the ‘Jan Anushasan Pakhwara’ (public discipline fortnight), all commercial establishments, offices and markets will remain shut.

Rajasthan government has decided to impose strict lockdown for 15 days starting from April 19 till May 3.
The home department of Rajasthan has named the lockdown period as “Public Discipline Fortnight” or “ Jan-Anushasan Pakhwara”.
A list of what is allowed during the
15 days lockdown period as per the new guidelines issued by the Rajasthan government.Due to the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases in the state, Rajasthan government has decided to impose strict lockdown for 15 days starting from April 19 till May 3. Earlier, Rajasthan government had imposed night curfew in the entire state from April 16.

The Rajasthan government on Sunday imposed 15-day lockdown-like curbs in the state from April 19, 5 am to May 3, 5 am owing to the surge in COVID-19 cases. The lockdown will be called 'Jan Anushasan Pakhwara' or 'self-discipline fortnight'. During this period, all markets, restaurants, non-essential shops and offices will remain shut. Essential services to remain open.
What's open, what's shut
1. No restrictions will be imposed on the movement of government officials, police, Home Guards, fire services officials, public transport staff, civic officials, sanitation workers, health workers and medics travelling with identity cards, an official order said.
