Until sometime between 7 00 or 8 00. Police have arrested an mta bus driver for a fatal accident in brooklyn. Paul roper is accused of leaving the scene of an accident. Surveillance video shows the bus hit a 70yearold woman, carolyn bell, using her walker to cross the street. The bus went straight for her. The driver paused briefly after hitting her and then drove off. She was reported dead at the scene. Roper says hes been driving a bus for 15 years.
