Democrat Nikki Fried is defying Gov. Ron DeSantis and refusing to lower flags at her state agriculture offices to honor Rush Limbaugh.

One day after a South Florida mayor called on other state leaders to challenge Gov. Ron DeSantis on his intent to lower flags in honor of conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, at least one Palm Beach County commissioner is also pushing back.

Elected in 2018, she is the first Black woman to hold her position, and is on the short list of finalists for United States attorney for the district of Massachusetts. Rollins doesn’t back away from fighting for the people. This is her beautiful resistance.
