Gertrude B. Shapiro (nee Berkman), a long-time resident of Stamford, CT, who was born in Oconto, Wisconsin, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, January 30th just 12 days after the death of her husband of 74 years, Marvin L. Shapiro. She is survived by her 3 children, Susan, Barbara and Jonathan ("Jody") (fiancé Annette), as well as two granddaughters, Jennifer (Michael) and Casie (Josh) and four great grandchildren, Madison, Everly, Scout and Ellis, all of whom she loved very much.
