A longtime writer and historical archivist, Davies also a member of the San Diego County Women’s Hall of Fame, Davies served on the city’s Commission for Arts & Culture, the San Diego Advicory Board on Women, the Balboa Park Committee and the Park & Recreation Board. She also had a 70-year association with the Old Globe Theatre, where she first worked as an actor at age 14 and went on to serve on its board of directors and gave money to the Globe. 20-25” w/file art.
