A Crofton man has been indicted by a Trigg County grand jury on charges of raping a minor child three years ago.
35-year-old James A. McKinney was indicted on charges of first-degree rape and first-degree persistent felony offender. The indictment from the Kentucky State Police investigation alleges McKinney twice had sex with a minor less than 12 years old in 2018 and had been convicted of at least two prior felony offenses.
Elsewhere, a Cadiz man was indicted on assault and attempting to disarm a police officer stemming from an April incident involving a Trigg County sheriff’s deputy. ....
