Robert “Bob” C. McCurry passed away suddenly at Conroe Regional Medical Center on March 3, 2023, at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Evelyn Riddle McCurry, stepson Jared David Tees (Beth), his beloved dog Remy, and predeceased by son Seth Michael McCurry. Bob was born in Gatesville, Texas, on April 10, 1938, to Robert Earl McCurry and Rivas Parsons McCurry. He graduated from the University of Texas with an accounting degree and worked as a CPA for many years before moving to Galveston, where he owned and operated the Economy Liquor stores with his wife.
