VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City hosted several schools for a Pop-Up track meet at the Dacotah Bank Track at Hanna Field. It was a good day for the Hi-Liners nine meet 1st place finishes, 31 personal records, five new members of the the Valley City Outdoor Top 10 lists, and seven athletes that qualified for the State Track Meet. Jaden Compson won the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Compson was also the anchor leg on the 4×100 meter relay team that qualified for the state meet. (NewsDakota.com) – Wahpeton started the second half on a 19-3 to turn a four point halftime lead into a 20 point lead and Valley City never recovered as the Huskie picked up a 83-65 win over the Hi-Liners on  Senior night. Valley City jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead thanks to one of the seniors. Alex Thornton hit a three-pointer and a baseline scoop shot and assisted on Peyton Zaun’s bucket to help the Hi-Liners jump out to an early lead. FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jack Pollert lead a balanced offense as five Shanley Deacons socred in double figures in a 77-49 win over Valley City Tuesday night at the Deacon Gym. Pollert had 15 points to lead the Deacons. Connor Kraft had 14 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots.
