Adult and Child Killed in Crash with Cattle Truck in Blackfoot BLACKFOOT, Idaho (KLIX)-A 21-year-old Blackfoot man and a juvenile were killed Tuesday afternoon when their minivan was struck by a cattle truck in Blackfoot, several others were hospitalized. Joseph Crippen, 21, of Blackfoot, was driving southbound on Merkley Lane in a 2015 Dodge Caravan with four passengers, according to Idaho State Police. Jared King, 39, of Wales, Sanpete County, Utah, was driving the semi westbound on Rich Lane. Investigators say Crippen did not yield at the intersection and was struck by King.
