Juan is from Jalisco, Mexico, and Zulma is from El Salvador. They met while working in the same restaurant, Taqueria La Juanita, in Storm lake, Iowa.
The Godinez family has served Worthington for 17 years. They purchased the Long Branch Saloon 15 years ago and added their taco truck to the business nine years ago.
Nkashama takes into consideration who she is serving, saying, “If I serve an African person then I make it very different – very spicy.”
