A Beaver Dam man was sentenced Friday to six years in prison for possession of child pornography. According to Dodge County officials, 51-year-old Adam Biddle sent child pornography to multiple people via electronic messaging platforms multiple times in 2020. When Beaver Dam police executed a search warrant on Biddle’s home, they seized all of his electronic devices where they eventually found messages to other online users containing child pornography. In one instance, Biddle used derogatory terms to describe women, at one point saying they should have never been allowed to learn to speak. ....

A Lone Rock resident is being sentenced to prison and ordered to pay restitution for committing Social Security fraud. U.S. District Judge William M. Conley sentenced Christopher M. Hynek on Friday to serve one year and one day in prison. Hynek must also pay a restitution amount of $98,256. The state Department of Justice said Hynek filed for Social Security Disability Insurance benefits in 2003. He claimed to be suffering arm injuries. While he was receiving benefits, Hynek worked at his parents printing business, Hynek Printing in Richland Center. ....
