Lodging and camping reservations at state parks surpassed previous years as locals and out-of-town visitors flocked to state campgrounds for the Fourth of July weekend. It was the first holiday weekend since Michigan relaxed restrictions on June 22, 2021 and people who camped out at Fort Custer State Park said it’s been a busy few days.
