Two gold coins, spanning 1,500 years in their origin, have been unearthed within 400 metres of each other in a farmer's field. The ancient treasures include a Celtic gold stater from around 65 BC and a 14th-century Edward III quarter noble.
"To find two unconnected gold finds from different eras in one day is almost unheard-of," metal detectorist Jasper Hyde said.
