Since my first look at the ACC futures market two weeks ago, not a whole lot has changed in the conference title race. Virginia (10-1 ACC record) and Florida State (6-2) are still atop the standings and have the two best odds to win the league.

Coaches are asked to predict how the game will unfold, how their opponent will play, and what their team’s keys to victory will be. Still, Josh Pastner offered a rare level of specificity during our pregame interview before Georgia Tech’s game versus Virginia on Jan. 23 in Charlottesville. “If we get to 65 [points], we’ll win the game,” Pastner told us that night. “You’re darn right if we got to 65, we would’ve won,” he followed up on Monday.
The score, 57-49, would tell you that Virginia beat Georgia Tech because defense travels, and, 36 percent shooting, .845 points per possession, sure.
