Four seats are up for grabs in the election, which will be held June 11.
Incumbent Amber Flynn and challengers Jay Kleven and Cameron Murphy addressed Grand Forks Education Association members in a Tuesday forum.
Both incumbent commissioners and three of four current board members are running for reelection.
Commissioners voted 4-1 on Tuesday, Feb. 20, to cease negotiations with the city of Grand Forks over the transfer of a county-owned parking ramp.
