INDIANA, (WTHI) - A group of first responders made it back home safely from Maui this past week. However, they're not the only ones who've traveled back safely. One family
IN-TF1 said the team, comprised of 70 first responders and civilians from throughout central Indiana, will return in two groups on Monday and Tuesday.
"It was just mind-boggling that that much destruction happened that quick and people could not escape it."
A 70-member team from Indiana Task Force 1 has arrived on the island of Maui, Hawaii, after being activated as a Type 1 Urban Search & Rescue.
