Maine East used an offensive explosion to win 20-9 over Wheeling on an overcast day for softball in Park Ridge Monday, April 3. Wheeling held a brief 4-3 lead at the top of the second inning, before Maine East outscored the Wildcats 17-5 the rest of the way to end the game in five innings.
