The branch is expected to open in the summer of 2022 Dayton Metro Library is planning to build a new branch in Northmont along Route 40. The Dayton Metro branch currently in Northmont shares a building with the Englewood Government Center. Jayne Klose, Community Engagement Manager for Dayton Metro Library, says this has been a tight squeeze for both organizations. “There was no room really to expand there and quite honestly I believe the city government could use some space, Klose says.
