KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Aishah Coppage is all too familiar with loss.
She lost her 16-year-old nephew, Jayson Ugwuh, in January in a shooting. In 2016, her 8-year-old son, Montell Ross, and 9-year-old nephew, Jayden Ugwuh, were killed in a shooting while playing video games at home.
August will mark five years since the death of the two little boys. Coppage is hoping the anniversary will not come and go without justice. ....

Apr. 2 Dominik Simmons and Dominique Nelson were inseparable, family of the 15-year-olds said.
Sometimes Dominique s family would find her best friend, Dominik, sitting on her porch in the morning, waiting for her to wake up. Friends since they were 8 years old, the two lived a couple blocks apart in Kansas City and were rarely seen without the other, loved ones said.
Dominique s family referred to the pair as the Domos. Dominik s father, Willie Wilkins, called them two peas in a pod. ....

42 Dugg are bringing attention to a Kansas City case where a woman has been imprisoned and is awaiting trial. She allegedly shot and killed a man she believed killed her brother. 
Tityana Coppage is accused of killing her cousin, 36-year-old
Keith Lars, who she claimed killed her 16-year-old brother
Jayson Ugwuh.
On January 13, Coppage allegedly shot Lars in revenge and then texted her brother to let him know she committed the crime. The Jackson County prosecuting attorney has since charged her with second-degree murder and armed criminal action. ....
