Sunrise Police sergeant under investigation retires
Sunrise Police Department Sgt. Christopher Pullease submitted a one-sentence memorandum to Chief Anthony Rosa on Nov. 4, formally notifying the chief of his retirement, effective that same day. He has been charged with battery, assault and tampering with evidence after body-worn-camera video showed him grabbing a female officer by the throat in November 2021.
