Letter to the Editor FacebookTwitterEmail TO THE EDITOR: In Simon and Garfukel’s hit song, "The Boxer," a line of lyrics states “a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest.” A translation of that line is “I don’t want to be bothered by the truth.” That kind of thinking contributes to the unproductive divide we see today in America.
