MARLBOROUGH — Santa is making a pre-Christmas visit to the city this weekend to spread some holiday cheer. Marlborough is holding its first Santa Run Saturday and Sunday evening to give children throughout the city an opportunity to see and wave to Santa. The city’s annual Home for the Holiday event — which includes the tree lighting and a visit from Santa — was canceled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
