Purdue University Northwest has enshrined three people into its Alumni Hall of Fame who have defined public service in their own ways.
“These are all good ideas,” said Town Manager Jim Gorman. “We know what we want to see, for the most part.”
Purdue University Northwest announced it will induct Hammond Mayor Thomas McDermott Jr., retired Lake County Judge Diane Kavadias Schneider and Indiana Grocery Group President and CEO Jeff Strack into its
Kickoff for the Red Kettle event in Lake and Porter counties, at four locations, began Friday at four locations and will continue through Dec. 23.
The 2023 annual luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 11.
