Clarksville Now William Joseph Forrester, age 82 of Clarksville passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Skyline Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Bill entered this life on October 25, 1938, in Waverly, TN to the late Ardell and Mattie Forrester. He was a graduate of Waverly Central High School. Bill enjoyed playing golf and was a Veteran of The United States Army. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville, and retired from the State of Tennessee. Bill graduated with his Bachelor of Science Degree at Austin Peay State University, where he served as both President and Vice President for The Circle K Club.
