A local man convicted and sentenced to life in prison last month in Hot Spring County on rape and stalking charges was arrested on a felony warrant Wednesday for the alleged rape of a 13-year-old Hot Springs girl last year.
District Superintendent Nancy Anderson said the incident allegedly occurred on Oct. 11 and "within 15 minutes" of the allegation, McDaniel was asked to leave campus while it was investigated.
