Ybor rock city was in full effect last Monday night when Crowbar hosted the 17th edition of its infamous Hot Dog Party. Per usual, the one and only Jeremy Gloff played the hot dog national anthem, but the show also featured other musical acts (Fre$h P, Big Sad and Mak) plus Piss, Tampa Bay’s premier Kiss cover band. Christian Restrepo, for his part, took home the title of big weiner after effortlessly downing 14 glizzies in 11 minutes to win the hot dog eating competition. “I’m going for 20 next year,” he told the crowd.
