Canon Solutions America joined Jericho School District in celebrating the book launch of "Emergence." Using Canon imaging equipment during the creative process to capture vivid photographs to accompany written work, the event celebrated collaboration, creativity, and camaraderie.
Eryn Margerison has mild cerebral palsy, which causes her to walk on her tiptoes. As part of her treatment, the eight-year-old, who lives at Hillcrest, in Whitehaven, has casts put on her legs to help keep her feet flat. Eryn’s mother, Kelly Margerison, said she was left “heartbroken”, after the pair went shopping in Whitehaven Tesco and her daughter noticed that she was being stared at by passers-by. Pupils obviously enjoy their sport and we found plenty of photos of teams that had travelled through to Carlisle to take part in the News & Star’s popular five-a-side football tournament over the years.
