June 22, 1964 - December 5, 2023 Janet Sue Harper (Rich), age 59, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, after a battle with cancer. She passed peacefully with family at her side. Janet was the eighth of eleven children born to Tom and Arliss Rich of Algona. The Rich home was always full of love and excitement.
From the Dec. 23, 1987 Telegram: "An 8-year-old boy was listed in fair condition Wednesday morning by personnel at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth where he is being treated for a gunshot wound that resulted from a Tuesday incident at Foxboro."
The houses will go up along Yamato Road and Northwest Third Avenue forming an L-shape at the intersection. Neighbors have raised concerns about traffic and noise.
