Patrol investigating fatal Perry County crash LANCASTER, Ohio – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal off-road vehicle accident that claimed the life of a Perry County man. The State Patrol says 56-year-old Jerry Spohn of Junction City was riding his side-by-side early Sunday morning when he lost control of the vehicle, went off the road and struck a stop sign. It happened Sunday just after 12:30 a.m. Troopers say 56-year-old Jerry Spohn of Junction City was traveling southwest on Garey Road NE toward Old Junction Road N and attempted to turn left onto Old Junction Road N.
