Overview The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) works alongside Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly food stamps) to help families weather financial distress, maintain health and wellness, and improve economic prospects.
