New federal proposal could help thousands of Afghan refugees obtain green cards
It’s been one year since the Afghanistan government fell to Taliban rule and thousands of Afghans fled to the United States. About 1000 of them ended up in Connecticut. And new federal legislation could help them find a permanent home here.
