The OU Botany Club is hosting their spring plant sale, an annual event where community members can purchase plants from the club to âcreate your perfect indoor jungle,â according to the clubâs website.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 23 on the South Oval. The club will offer a wide variety of plants for customers to purchase, ranging from succulents to herbs and veggies. The Botany Club will also be partnering with the OU Red Clay Faction to sell handmade pots to store the plants in.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, this year orders will need to be placed through the website on a pre-order and then picked up at a scheduled time on the day of the event. Sales for the plants close at 3 p.m. on April 22.Â

WALTON COUNTY Visit South Walton has announced the 2021 Perfect in South Walton Award winners. The seventh annual awards are nominated and voted on by visitors and residents to recognize local restaurants, businesses and events in a variety of categories.
“The Perfect in South Walton awards are a great opportunity for us to celebrate local businesses to help them feel a little love from locals and visitors who have made great memories thanks to the people working hard to create a special experience for them,” said Visit South Walton Director of Marketing and Communications David Demarest. “It’s one of the ways we support those businesses and help remind visitors of the many reasons they have to come back again.”
