Iowa Gov., Kim Reynolds, recently announced five local individuals are among those appointed to the state’s committees, commissions and boards. These include: Carroll County Auditor, Kourtney Irlbeck, who will serve on the County Finance Committee; Angela Lensch of Glidden, who is the Academic Manager at the Denison Job Corps Center, has been appointed to the Early Childhood Iowa State Board; Crawford County Sheriff, Jim Steinkuhler, will serve on the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy Council; Amber Mahrt of Denison, who is a member of the nursing faculty at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), will sit on the Board of Nursing; and General Manager of STAR Energy FS, Jeffrey Manthei of Manson, will serve on the Renewable Fuel Infrastructure Board.
