Pelley good evening. This is our western edition. They were dancing on the street today to a couple of new records. Investors, who have been pouring money into stocks, drove the dow up to its fourth record close this year 16,715. And have a look at this in 2009, the dow bottomed out during the Great Recession at 6,547. Well, it is now two and a half times higher. And the s p 500, a broader measure of stocks, closed today at a record 1,897, but at one point it was even higher. More now from anthony mason.
