Beginning with its prologue chapter Bound by Blood way back in September 2019, and threaded through nine other stages over the past 18 months, the MMORPG’s saga’s final raging battle has now dropped – and that showdown “really ups the stakes and the chaos” this time. Ushered in with a new trailer – which you can check out below – the Guild Wars 2 Icebrood Saga: Champions finale Judgment sees “the Elder Dragons of Ice and Fire face their last battlefield in The Icebrood Saga’s final chapter”. Players have to “join the fight to save Tyria from an elemental cataclysm – and tip the scales to ensure Jormag and Primordus can’t hide behind their mortal champions forever.”

ArenaNet has released the next chapter of Guild Wars 2: The Icebrood Saga’s finale. This one is called Balance, and it features new Dragon Response missions, four more allied factions, and a solo mission for Braham Eirsson. You’re going to be adventuring to numerous locations in the new Dragon Response missions where you’ll meet Icebrood leaders to do battle with. While those foes will be of a similar level to the last chapter, Episode 5 team lead Joe Kimmes tells us there are different ways they can pose a challenge.
Guild Wars 2’s Dragon Response bosses dial up the challenge in ‘Power’ The next stage of Guild Wars 2’s multi-part Icebrood Saga finale is here, and with it comes a steeper challenge to tackle. Following the MMORPG’s first finale chapter’s introduction of Dragon Response missions, the latest – ‘Power’ – brings a bunch more, and you can expect their bosses to throw a meaner punch at you this time around. “In Chapter 2’s missions, you’ll see some new foes and, in particular, upgraded bosses,” Episode 5 team lead Joe Kimmes tells us. “We were a little more cautious in the first chapter as we eased into the Response Missions, and now you’ll begin seeing some larger-scale attacks from the bosses, in particular if you turn on challenge mode.” As for what this challenge mode modifier does, the dev explains that it ramps up the big bad beasties’ skills in various ways.
