Several Accidents in Wayne County Over Weekend
Wayne County Sheriff's Officials were called out to mile marker 104 on Interstate 64 Saturday Evening around 7:55 PM for a single vehicle accident. According to the official report, 29-year-old Joel S. Steele of Lexington, Kentucky was eastbound on the interstate when he lost control of his vehicle due to water on the roadway. Steele's vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree head-on. No injuries were reported in the accident. The vehicle was towed from the scene and over $1500 of damage was sustained.
