BWXT Names Jim J. Bittner Vice President and General Manager of Lynchburg, Virginia operations 15 March 2021 (LYNCHBURG, Va. - March 15, 2021) - BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BWXT) announced today that Jim J. Bittner has been named Vice President and General Manager of the BWXT Nuclear Operations Group, Inc. (BWXT NOG) manufacturing facility in Lynchburg, Virginia. Bittner leads a workforce of approximately 2,200 employees in the manufacture of naval nuclear reactors for submarines and aircraft carriers, as well as fuel assemblies for research and test reactors. His new role follows a history of progressive leadership and promotion within the company over the last 32 years.
