Homes. Its evident that fire crews now have the upper hand on this fire. Take a look at what it looked like just about 90 minutes ago. The fire burned very close to this neighborhood, which is what prompted South San Francisco police to go door to door and issue that evacuation order. Neighbors tell me an emergency phone call said they should evacuate. The fire was reported at about 2 00 this afternoon, near Chestnut Avenue and hillsdale boulevard. Reporter tonight we learned the name of the victim, 46yearold tony zumini. And the person who killed him is his own son. It just hurts so much to see my father just laying there and i cant bring him back. It really hurts. Reporter losing their father is a crushing low to priscilla and her sister, vanessa. Uneven approach to reopening. In texas, the governor announcing an expansive reopening plan that begins this friday. First to open there, retail stores, restaurants, movie theaters, and malls all at a 25 capacity. Meanwhile, their neighbor, louisiana is extending their stay at home orders through may 15th. And there is this new National Poll by the Washington Post and university of maryland that shows that 66 of people think the state imposed restrictions on businesses are appropriate. Another 16 think they dont go far enough. 17 think it is too restrictive. The restrictions on the size of public gatherings are appropriate now. 22 say those are not restrictive enough, just 14 feel those are too restrictive.
