DOVER At a sometimes contentious special session Friday evening that lasted nearly three hours, Dover council voted to override Mayor Richard Homrighausen's vetoes of two pieces of legislation. DOVER The city's building and zoning administrator is recommending that Dover take action to ban the use of shipping containers as houses or storage buildings. "I'm trying to get out in front of this before we do have some people start putting some shipping containers as storage buildings or building houses," John McFadden told council members during a meeting of the Planning, Zoning & Codes Committee.
