The family of a man allegedly attacked and killed by his cellmate filed a lawsuit on Friday against Kenton County over his death. John Daulton, 61, died one week after being assaulted in May.
A Kenton County Detention Center inmate's 'violent tendencies' were disclosed in a law enforcement notification hours before he allegedly assaulted his cellmate, according to records obtained by WCPO.
Officers were dispatched to the detention center on May 14 for a person not breathing after an assault, police said.
