JAMESTOWN CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING, DECEMBER 5, 2022 UNOFFICIAL MINUTES The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Heinrich at 5:00 P.M. The Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was recited. Roll Call showed the following members present: Mayor Heinrich, Council Members Kamlitz, Buchanan, Steele and Schloegel, City Attorney Ryan, and City Administrator Hellekson. Ann Hoggarth of Buchanan, and Tom Tracy of Jamestown, appeared before the City Council. Council Member Schloegel moved to approve the minutes of the November 7, 2022, regular council meeting, and the November 22, 2022, all committees meeting. Seconded by Council Member Kamlitz. Unanimous aye vote. Carried. Council Member Kamlitz moved to approve the following consent agenda items: A. Resolution to approve the updated agreement between the City of Jamestown and Aqua-Pure, beginning January 1, 2023, and ending December 31, 2023, with the option to extend annually. B. Resolution to approve the 2023 licen

City Council OKs zoning change to proposed Dollar General site

The Jamestown City Council approved 3-2 an ordinance to amend the district map to change the zoning to a local commercial district where Dollar General plans to locate.

Fire truck failure leaves city vulnerable
