On Monday, members of the town of Buena Vista’s Historic Preservation Committee presented a plaque to the Groy family commemorating the Pearl Theater’s recognition as a local landmark.
During their regular meeting on August 22, Buena Vistas’ Board of Trustees discussed the Pearl Theater’s local landmark designation and moved to opt into Proposition 123.
The Pearl, located at 316 E. Main St., became a movie theater in 1951.
