A former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has withdrawn a suit he filed against his ex-wife, Precious Chikwendu for attempted murder. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Federal High Court in Abuja dismissed the suit following the application filed by the prosecution for the withdrawal of the case. At the resumption of sitting on Thursday, prosecution counsel, John Ijagbemi, told Justice Inyang Ekwo after the matter was called for the defendants to take a plea, that he would like to withdraw the case.
