A historical seafood traveling exhibit is coming out next year about the role Black people play in NC’s seafood industry.
NC Catch, the nonprofit that works to educate consumers about the importance of buying local seafood, is heading up a collaboration with Black seafood business owners and historians to create the N.C. Black Seafood Trail.
A variety of new businesses opened in 2021 in Onslow County, including everything from dog coffee shops to trendy boutiques.
