READERS' PICTURES: A pop of colour
Colourful images come in the form of flora and fauna, curious wildlife and sweeping landscapes. Both John Gelson and John Mateey spotted the friendly wildlife such as a graceful swan on Mill Beck Pond, in Norton and a wandering pheasant in Westow. Other readers have had their focus drawn to the changing landscapes around us. Barbara Balf spotted a stream of daffodils in Helmsley and Kerry Megginson captured a sprinkling of snowdrops near Easthorpe.
