The Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed an appeal by the APC and its governorship candidate in Adamawa State, Aisha Dahiru, known as Binani. 

The Supreme Court on Wednesday affirmed the election of Adamawa State governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. The apex court held that Governor Fintiri was validly elected in accordance with the provisions of the law. A five-member panel led by John Okoro on Monday adjourned the matter for judgment after listening to the arguments of the parties in the matter.
