John Pekar reflects on 50-year career as he retires from Fairfield DD Friday
David Uhl was named Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities Superintendent and will begin working in that role on January 1, 2023.
According to Fairfield DD, the new position incorporates supervision of the Facilities, IT and Transportation departments. In a media release, Fairfield DD Superintendent John Pekar said the organization is excited to have McCollough on the team. "[McCollough] has established himself not only as a leader in the county, but also as a dedicated public servant," said Pekar, "who cares deeply for his community and the people who occupy it.
