Based on total voter registration numbers alone, the 93rd District is the largest of Norfolk's House of Delegate districts.
Incumbent Democrat Jackie Glass will face off against Republican challenger John Sitka in the newly drawn 93rd District for the Virginia House of Delegates.
Jackie Hope Glass previously represented House District 89 after winning a special election last year. The Democratic legislator is seeking election to the newly drawn 93rd District against Republican John Sitka.
With all ballots counted, the Virginia Department of Elections results showed 50.5% of the votes were cast in favor of Adale Martin, while 48.5% were for Carly West Gelles. Around 120 votes separated the two.
Tiffany Moore-Buffaloe appeared to have claimed the Ward 4 seat, while the Ward 1 race between incumbent Adale Martin and newcomer Carly West Gelles was too close to call, according to unofficial election results.
