Sonya Patrick spent many days last summer protesting George Floyd's killing. "I was very much concerned" before the verdict for Derek Chauvin was announced, said the Wilmington chapter of Black Lives Matter leader, that he would not be convicted. "I'm glad he was found guilty on all counts. But I still think (the charges should have included) first degree murder." Chauvin leaving the courthouse in handcuffs spread quickly on social media.
