Rowdy meeting on emigration is held in Banbridge Town Hall (1852)
The News Letter had reported that a meeting had been held in Banbridge’s Town Hall “for the purpose of hearing an address from Mr John C King, Esq”, a delegate from Victoria, on the subject of emigration to “that interesting and prosperous colony”.
